Online Surveys
Online surveys can be the most efficient way to access consumers instantly. They also open the door to geographic dispersion, larger sample sizes and considerable cost savings.

Online surveys can be as simple or complex as you need them to be, and no survey is too short. Even one burning question can be fielded.

Online Surveys - Question Types

  • Closed-ended (multiple choice) questions
    Questions are programmed to get the kind of response you need: Select one, Select all that apply, Select (a number you specify)

  • Open-ended (text responses)
    These responses help dimensionalize your findings. It allows respondents to explain their rationale about a question. It adds personality, emotion and detail to your data.

  • Rankings
    Allows your choices to be compared to one another in relative terms. You can visualize your data from most to least.

  • Grids and Tables
    A variety of looks and designs are available to make your survey questions easy to navigate, appealing to the eye and comfortable for the respondent.

  • Validation
    Responses to questions are required, making it impossible to collect data from respondents that have abandoned the survey before completion or skipped through pages along the way to the end.

  • Skip Logic
    Allows questions to be tailored in a logical manner from one question to another.

  • Text Piping
    Responses from one question can be used to help frame questions later in the survey.
Moderated Online Chats
Sometimes it's desirable to be a part of the dynamic that brings many people together and see how a "conversation" unfolds. Online chat rooms are a perfect way to get national demographics in a single place at a designated time.

Bulletin Boards
Somewhat similar to online chatting, online bulletin boards allow respondents to visit an online chat room over a period of two or three days to answer questions. Over the course of the chat, an online moderator posts his/her own comments/questions to probe respondents. Each participant is able see the responses from other people on the board, and can comment on what is written. This banter not only adds to the amount of information, but also provides greater depth.

Traditional Focus Groups
